Isole Tremiti
The Tremiti Islands, or “Diomedee” are at about 12 marine miles at the North from the Gargano Promontory. They are included in the National Park of the Gargano and, since 1989, a part of its territory is a marine natural Reserve.
It is one of the most important tourist places in Puglia, thanks to the quality and clearness of its water: the sea, here, was more than once awarded with the prestigious Blue Flag by the Foundation for Environmental Education.
